Program · Youth Development, Ages 14–24

Meeting young people where the gap actually starts.

The Psychological Readiness Framework is where The MIND Foundation’s research meets direct service — a structured path for at-risk and underserved youth, including young people navigating abuse and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), toward genuine employability.

Three tracks, one destination

No two young people arrive at readiness the same way. The Framework meets each of them on the track that fits.

Universal

For youth building foundational readiness skills without a specific complicating factor — the baseline path every participant can start from.

High-Risk / ACEs

For youth navigating abuse, neglect, or other Adverse Childhood Experiences, where stabilization has to come before anything else can take hold.

Neurodiverse

For youth whose readiness path needs to account for how they process instruction, pressure, and social expectation differently.

Four stages

Every track moves through the same sequence — because readiness is built in order, not all at once.

01

Stabilization

Establishing safety and consistency before any development work begins.

02

Identity

Building a sense of self that isn’t defined by circumstance or past harm.

03

Behavioral Infrastructure

Practicing the Six Unmeasurables directly — ownership, initiative, follow-through — in low-stakes settings.

04

Employability

Translating that infrastructure into the workplace readiness that opens real opportunity.

This is what the Golf Classic funds

The Tee It Up For Kids Golf Classic is the primary fundraising vehicle for this Framework.
