Our thesis-group consists of three senior year physical therapy students at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences in Heerlen, the Netherlands: Rowana Blezer, Elisabeth Gatzweiler and Maike Suschka.
Our project title is: ‘‘Let your imagination run free’’:
The topic of our thesis is ‘implicit motor learning (analogy learning) in people after stroke; single case studies’. In this study analogy learning is applied to a small number of patients in the chronic phase after stroke. These patients will follow a short, intensive intervention period. Using different measurements in time, the changes in motor performance will be investigated.
